Each year, the SDRSP presents several awards. The Florence Krieger award is perhaps the most prestigious, and the outstanding service award is presented yearly to individuals who are instrumental in building the organization. Outstanding Service Award

Outstanding Service Award winners were Jacque Sly from the Black Hills Unit and Marlene Eimers from the Redfield Unit. Jacque is receiving the award from Cathy Anderson, President of SDRSP. Marlene is not pictured.

Florence Krieger Award Winners

2025 Winner

Jacque Sly

The Florence Krieger Award for 2025 went to Jacque Sly from Rapid City. She is currently serving as past-president of SDRSP and treasurer of the BHRSP Unit. She is serving as interim newsletter chairman. This award is given to someone who has displayed outstanding contributions to the state association as well as the local unit.

2024 Winner

Carmal Tobin

Carmal Tobin from Milbank Unit is the 2024 Florence Krieger award winner. She is currently Secretary of SDRSP and in the past was chair of Community Service. Carm is always willing to step in to help when needed. SDRSP is thankful for her years of service.
